✨ Family sessions are always special, but this one touched my heart even more. Alongside capturing smiles, hugs, and little moments of joy, we welcomed a new furry face into the family photos, Mr. Ham, Leroy 🐾.

Leroy’s arrival is extra meaningful because he was sent with love from Dozier, the McDonald family's beloved companion who crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🌈. While Dozier’s paws may no longer walk beside them, his spirit and unconditional love will always be part of their story. And now, Leroy has stepped in to carry that love forward, reminding us how deeply dogs weave themselves into the fabric of family.

These photos are more than pictures; they’re memories of resilience, love, and the way every chapter, even the bittersweet ones, shapes a family’s journey. 💕

📸 Here’s to honoring the past, celebrating the present, and cherishing the bonds that never fade. 🥹

My heart fully believes Dozier was present during this special session and gave his boy the ok to allow Leroy into his heart.

Diamond—sassy Dimey—was more than a dog. She was a constant, a quiet protector, and the heartbeat beside Dani and Megan through every chapter of their lives. From the very first day of Dani’s military journey, Dimey was there—through moves, missions, homecomings, and hard goodbyes. She stood guard with a wagging tail and an old soul that understood more than words ever could.

She didn’t need orders or medals—her loyalty was her service, her presence a steady salute. She loved Megan with that same unwavering devotion, offering comfort in silence, joy in chaos, and a kind of companionship that only comes once in a lifetime.

Rest easy, Dimey girl. You were Dani’s first salute, their softest landing, and the bravest little soul. Your love was your legacy—and it will live on forever.

Dani and Meg, thank you for allowing me to capture Diamond’s legacy and unwavering love.
