There’s something special about photographing someone who already understands how to take direction and still stay completely natural. With young actors, the goal isn’t drama — it’s clarity. Agencies and casting directors want to see exactly who they are right now.

A couple times each year, I go on-site to photograph headshots for the Professional Women’s Group at Dress for Success Indianapolis. During their LinkedIn workshops, participants update their profiles in real time, and I photograph headshots they can use immediately. It’s a meaningful (and fun!) way for me to give back to the community — using my skill set in a way that’s practical and directly useful.

Dress for Success helps women move toward economic independence by providing professional clothing, career development programming, and ongoing support. It's a great organization and they have lots of ways to get involved. Check them out here: https://indydfs.org/
