Taking a photo is such a beautiful thing.
What could be more meaningful than looking at a moment and thinking, I love this enough that I never want to lose it.
Over the years, I’ve heard from so many picture people who don’t always feel understood. The people around them don’t see why they stop everyone for one more picture, why they notice little moments, or why they keep taking photos that everyone else thinks are unnecessary.
But please don’t question yourself, what you are doing is meaningful.
There is something incredibly beautiful about a heart that wants to preserve memories. About someone who notices joy before it disappears and cares enough to hold onto it.
Don’t ever feel like you have to shrink that part of yourself to make other people comfortable.
Keep taking one more photo.
The world needs more people who believe beautiful moments are worth remembering.
