I don’t always shoot seniors, but when I do and they’re THIS BEAUTIFUL, I’m gonna over share 😍 Her mama shared with me at this session that she started kindergarten “early” and was reminded then that her baby would also graduate early. She was in tears when she talked about how she didn’t realize then how hard it would be now…the growing pains. The letting go. But she is so proud. What a beautiful young woman…wishing you the brightest future, Emerson! Congratulations!!

Here’s to the moms.

The ones who carry the mental load no one sees. Who remember the shoe sizes, the favorite snacks, the appointments, the spirit days and the bedtime songs. The ones who run on cold coffee and little sleep but still somehow make life feel warm and safe for everyone around them.

The ones wiping tears while holding back their own. The ones healing parts of themselves while raising tiny humans with gentleness anyway.

The moms in the thick of newborn fog. The moms chasing toddlers barefoot through the yard. The moms navigating slammed doors, messy bedrooms and growing pains with teenagers who suddenly aren’t so little anymore.

The moms who give and give and give, often without applause. The ones behind the camera instead of in front of it. The heartbeat of the home.

Motherhood is exhausting and beautiful and sacred all at once. And even on the days you feel like you’re failing, you are someone’s safe place. Someone’s comfort. Someone’s whole world.

Today, we celebrate you.
