Hey friends! I'm Melissa Loren, mama to Henry Harper and Luce Colette (the inspiration behind my new aspiration!) and life partner to the handsome Sean Casey.

This page started out as a blog many, many years ago, and while I still blog, this page has transformed into a platform for my aspiring photography business! This is where I share photo sneaks, photo tips, blog posts and the occasional life ramblings. I was born and raised in Kansas City, this will always be home. For the next 48 hours, I’m opening up a little Labor Day special for babies due November 2026 through March 2027.

✨ Studio Combo Newborn Session- $700
(Normally $800)

If you’ve been thinking about booking your newborn session but just haven’t gotten around to it yet, this might be the perfect time. 🤍

This is for new bookings only and isn’t available for families who are already on my calendar. Your session must be booked within 48 hours of this post to receive the special pricing.

I have several newborns booked for these months already, so I have a limited number of spots available, so if you have a winter baby on the way, send me your due date and I’ll send you everything you need to get on the calendar.

One last day of summer for my kiddos. 🥲 As the years go by, the more sad I get saying goodbye to summer. I love my kids so much and would spend all of my days with them if I could. Routine is always nice and they always jump right back into school and their friends, but it’s always a little bittersweet at the beginning.

I’m working a little this morning and tonight, but I will hit editing hard tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. 🩵
