If we aren’t breaking things we aren’t learning things… the Hyperlow is back together and will be ready for work this weekend at the 2026 AMA D38 - I8 - Monster Mash. The payload will be a GoPro ILS with a Laowa 7.5mm lens.

I received my replacement parts for my Hyperlow X4 8 today from CNCmadness. I launched a battery out the back and had a complete power loss during some testing. Broke a few parts. Thank you Rich for the fast turn around and always awesome customer service. Can’t wait to slap it back together and get it back in the air. The X4 8 with 9” props flys like a dream. An incredible agile and stable cinema platform for the GoPro ILS or Blackmagic size cams.

I’m happy to share that SwellDrone has been given clearance to operate at the 2026 AMA D38 Monster Mash this Saturday 10.24.26. The weather looks like it’s gonna be great with light winds, the highest winds (11mph) around lunchtime. There will be plenty of sunshine. Hopefully everybody has a fun and safe race.

*** it is important to note that this race is being held in military airspace, and if you do not have permission to fly your drone from the controlling entity you are putting military pilots and personnel at risk as well as opening yourself up to legal issues by flying your personal drones in the R2510 airspace. ***There will be military air traffic on this day.
