I really wish I had better pictures of these bears but the story will always be a favorite. My family and I all went to Yellowstone years ago, but my sister didn't really remember it and had come to stay with us in October. We decided to go up one Saturday just her and I. We left at the butt crack of dawn, drove up to realize Sam had the pass in his truck hours away, luckily we were there early enough no one was at the station and we got in for free. We saw the sun come up, and it was beautiful. I got one on one time with her, which hadn't happened in a really long time. We drove to Pelican Valley, and decided to see where it lead us. We totally lucked out and drove up on these guys. I was SO excited that I was there with her when we saw GRIZZLY BEARS! I probably should of calmed down a little to get better pictures but seeing her reaction was just as cool. We saw a lot of wildlife this trip but these will always hold a special place for me.

... but 68 days and we can go exploring for these guys again. 😍
