I was looking for a surge of patriotism and I found it with the incredible Women of DAR. I spent the last week documenting their 135 Continental Congress at Constitution Hall. They were simply radiating red, white, and blue 🇺🇸
As we celebrate our Nations 250th Birthday today, I find it most appropriate to share a selection of my favorite moments from last weeks events. The ultimate highlight for me was photographing Lincoln, a rescued Bald Eagle soar through a jam packed Constitution Hall on opening night.

I’ve been busy covering commencements the past month. This year I helped document multi day graduations for John’s Hopkins University, The Catholic University of America, and Montgomery College. Aside from capturing the joy of the accomplishment of years of hard work, I also got to tune into some wonderful commencement addresses which were incredibly uplifting. Oh and I learned that Graduation Regalia in France is well, unique and far different than what we wear here in the US! See slide 2 for fur trim…

Today was one of those early mornings. Found myself setting up before sunrise for 82 folks at a conference. Majority had their photo taken before breakfast!
