We are optimistic that the buck will remain on the secure property for the remainder of the season, as we have obtained permission to conduct shed hunting in the area, and it would be a significant find to discover its matched antlers given their substantial mass and tine length.

The young hunters shot was a touch back with limited blood through the cattails. Up went the drone, the doe was located in her bed. After a quick battery swap 12 minutes later back overhead to verify she didn’t go far to bed again and she was dead. One happy hunter!

The hunter made the right call backing out the night before when he suspected he was pushing the buck. Located it the following morning just before daybreak 5 minutes and 3 seconds from takeoff over 500 yards from point of impact. Night mode accidentally got turned on during takeoff, sorry for no color.

In the event of uncertainty regarding a hit, our services are available to aid in recovery. We will initiate flight operations after hunting hours to ensure a non-disruptive experience for hunters. Our operational area this weekend will be the Dodge County through Juneau county area.

Although the outcome may not always be as desired, the drone can provide reassurance regarding the events that transpired. This deer is likely to survive. The buck was located 12 hours after the shot, 880 yards from the point of impact. He was shivering and reluctant to move, suggesting that he may simply require more time. Upon returning six hours later, he was found standing, an additional 400 yards from his previous location, and while being monitored, he covered another 900 yards at a steady pace. The only wound detected was located on the lower front edge of his back leg.

A successful pet search was conducted last night. The search began 45 minutes after the pet's disappearance. It took 59 minutes of flight time to locate the pet. The search was prolonged due to the area's terrain, which included woods, cattail marsh, and standing corn, as well as scattered homes. This led to the detection of numerous other animals that needed to be verified. The pet was found in the opposite direction of the initial search area, approximately 1/2 mile from home, relaxing in a residential front yard. The first image shows the pet enjoying the view from another yard, while the second image depicts the family returning to their vehicle after the pet was safely loaded. The heat signature from the pet's resting place is still visible.
