My daughter, Freya, is the entire reason why photography means what it does to me today, and why I am so passionate about it.

The photographs of Freya are some of the only tangible things I have left. The photos are proof that she is ours, that she was here and that she is forever loved.

Families experiencing loss shouldn’t have to walk this path alone and they deserve to have something to remember their babies by. To honor Freya, I would love to gift photos to parents who have to face a heartbreaking loss.

Fun fact about me - I love floral design. I got into it several years ago while in college and got to put together some wedding bouquets. I did this one a couple of years ago & I still love it. 💐

Hi there — it’s been awhile, I know! I figured it’s time for a re-introduction. Let’s see if I can remember how to do this 🫪
I’m Kenzie & I just recently moved back to Tennessee from Japan after living there for a couple of years. I enjoyed my time there & all of the wonderful people I met along the way. If I could go back, I definitely would!
I’ve been blessed to do this as a job for about 4 years now and truly enjoy every second. After experiencing the huge loss of my daughter last year, it’s only deepened my love for photography because sometimes photos really are the only thing we have left of our loved ones. So, take the photo, document the mundane, live & soak up every moment. 💛 life is short!

I’m going to try & do my best to post more regularly. If I’m honest, it just hasn’t felt (not sure of the word I’m looking for) right to post?? With grieving, I’ve just felt sort of strange? Off? Not myself? It’s hard to put it into words but I have missed sharing all the fun things I’ve been able to document & I’m ready to get back to it!
