If you’re new here — Hi, I’m Shelby Cole!

My passion for photography started when my daughter was born and I realized how fleeting the quick passing moments are.

I’ve been documenting people’s lives, love stories, and accomplishments in life for the past 7 years and made it my full time “job” 4 years ago. Since then I’ve photographed several wedding days, graduations, growing families, and more. My favorite being weddings.

Documenting weddings is so much more for me than just showing up the day of and capturing the essential picture perfect moments. I’m happiest being a fly on the wall photographing the day as it happens — the raw and real moments of the day that might go unseen. The flower girl watching the bride in awe. Your grandpa holding back tears as you walk down the aisle. Your mom and dad clenching hands as you say your vows. Those are the moments that’ll you’ll cherish looking back on forever. The messy, not so perfect moments.

The Davis Wedding was one that was full of family, love, and special little moments alone.

Kaylee and Bailey wrote handwritten letters of their vows for each other to read alone during their wedding day. Both shed tears over their letters — but tears of joy and excitement to officially be one. I wish we could relive this day 10x over.

For those who don’t follow on Instagram here’s a current update on our situation..

We are currently on day 4 without power due to the storm that blew in on Tuesday morning. Several trees on our roads took out multiple power lines.

I’m still working on getting those sneak peeks and galleries out as I can in the meantime but at the moment we are moving at a slower pace with the conditions we have!

Thank you so much for being so patient during this time - it’s much appreciated.
