When I’m behind the lens, I’m focused on more than just a great shot—I’m focused on the energy of the session. While I love the variety of this job, Fashion, Grad Shoots, and Couples are my absolute favorites to photograph.

​Here is a quick-start guide to mastering studio lighting to build a high-end brand aesthetic:

The "Big & Soft" Rule: Mimic beautiful window light by using a large octabox or softbox close to your subject. The bigger the modifier, the softer and more flattering the light.

High-Key vs. Moody: Match the vibe to the brand!
-​High-Key (Bright & Airy): Perfect for tech, wellness, or modern corporate. Use low contrast and fill the shadows.

I’m often asked how I manage a professional photography business while navigating Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). In this interview, I got to open up about my condition and how it actually fuels my craft.
