These sweet friends had to say goodbye to their dog sooner than they were expecting a few years ago. She called the day of and we luckily were able to make this session happen in 30 min. What an honor it was to be able to capture this last day for them. If you have pets at home you know how much like family they are and saying goodbye is really hard.

I took a bit of a break these past several months from shooting professionally which is why there have been so many personal film posts. In honor of resuming things this week I thought I would share some film images from a session back in January for a sweet friend. I brought my film camera along just for fun. Im considering adding film into my session for the remainder of the year if I have any interest.

Happy birthday Alice on film

Alice turned 5 this March. She has learned and grown so much and will be graduating from preK this month. She loves cats and is always trying to make Roxy be nice to her. He hasn’t conceded yet. She is still 100% into princesses and dresses up as one daily. Moana is the current favorite. She calls dandelions “candylions” and flamingos “maflingos”. She is sweet, gentle, silly and simply the best. Cheers to year 5 JoJo! ❤️
