Welcome to Five Things Friday, an occasional newsletter where I’ll peel back the curtain and let you in on my life! I’m Brittany, the owner of .hsv and I’m always so excited about your upcoming photography sessions with me!

1. I have a maternity session coming up that I’m so excited for in a beautiful location just outside of Huntsville. I can’t wait to share more about this!
2. I’m working on building a database at work to easily create and print plant sale signs and that is taking up a huge part of my brain energy lately. This project will be so beneficial in the future!
3. I have a trip coming up this summer with my beloved- it is our belated honeymoon to celebrate 15 years of being together! We are traveling to Germany which is my husband’s cultural heritage. We’ll drink beer, eat schnitzel, hike, visit castles, and we have a photography session booked at a beautiful lake in the Bavarian Alps! Summer can’t get here fast enough!
4. I started watching the Gabby Petito documentary on Netflix and it’s breaking my heart. It’s so important to raise awareness to the struggles that many in DV situations face. Everyone deserves to feel safe and secure in their relationship.
5. I’m currently trying to increase my photography company’s outreach and raise awareness of my work. It is hard! But it is also so fun. I’ll be taking branding photos this weekend with one of my closest friends and I’m looking forward to that girl date!
