hi friends & all… here’s a PSA❕

i wanted to share that i will no longer be posting identifiable photos of children’s faces on my photography page. whether there’s a signed release or not. unfortunately, the 7th circuit court of appeals just ruled that privately possessing Al-generated CSAM depicting “fictional” children… (yes, you heard that right, this is real) — they CAN be constitutionally PROTECTED when it “stays within the home.”
the court ruled that the federal government cannot criminalize the private, in-home possession of obscene Al-generated CSAM under the statute at issue so anyone can go and use any picture of a child’s face or body and make child sexual abuse material and it is 100% LEGAL.
I refuse to take part in such a disgusting act and encourage everyone to please do their research and educate themselves on this matter. as someone that often photographs children in such a beautiful and positive way, i wholeheartedly believe that children should be protected at ALL costs and in no way shape or form will i contribute to this problem.
i of course will still offer family photo sessions, in-home newborn, & birthday celebration sessions… however, I will no longer be sharing them on my website nor any of my socials moving forward where a child can be identified.
