Hi everybody. It's been a minute.
Some of you know me from my time as the Social Media Marketing Specialist at JQ Dickinson Salt-Works. Some of you know me from Mountain Music Festival, Dome Fest, or maybe you were one of the seniors or families I photographed under MountainEary or J Arthur Eary Photography. If none of those ring a bell; hi, I'm Joel Eary. I take pictures for a living-ish and I'm pretty decent at it.
After a 5-6 year stint an industry that shall remain unnamed for legal and emotional reasons(yes, I had a license to do the work), I'm back behind the camera full force. Turns out I'm not great at NOT being a photographer.
Here's what I'm offering:
📸 Portrait Sessions - seniors, families, individuals. You bring the vibes, I bring the Nikon Z6 II and enough S-Line glass to make you look incredible.
🏢 Commercial Photography - product shots, brand content, social media imagery. I've got a 105mm Macro lens that sees details your naked eye can't and a tripod that does a little slide-out thing so the camera sits flat over your product. I also have a marketing brain, which means I don't just deliver pretty pictures - I deliver pretty pictures that WORK.
Starting rates: • Portrait sessions(seniors, family, etc) start at $250 • Commercial half-days start at $450 • Full event/festival day rate: $500+ • Custom packages available - DM for a personalized quote.
I'm not cheap, but I'm not charging NYC prices either. Central Appalachia rates for Central Appalachia quality; which, honestly, is just as good. We just have significantly better backdrops.
