because what moves us matters. I’m based in Fort Wayne and photograph elopements and weddings wherever your story unfolds.

Hi friends, I’m Kasey, an Indiana-based elopement & wedding photographer drawn to connection, the in-between, and what’s real & deeply emotional. I believe photographs matter most when they reflect what the moment made us feel; evening light draping itself over your shoulder; the pause before your first step down the aisle; the connection flowing between everyone. I’ve spent 18 years documenting weddings and portraits with this same intention: to create deeply moving images that bring you back to that moment in time. On any given day, you can find me flipping through vinyl at the record store, daydreaming in the fantasy section at Half Price Books, or hanging at home with my two boys, musician husband, and plethora of fur babies.

There’s so much I love looking back through these photographs: her hand against his shoulder, the photographs tied to her bouquet, the way they look at each other walking across the grass.

And that stained glass! I could have spent a whole afternoon with that light.

I met Melanie and Gregg through a shared favorite band, so getting to photograph their wedding felt particularly fitting.

He’s a musician, she’s a singer, and music was present in ways both subtle and loud: a miniature guitar box holding their rings, a cake topper that put the theme in writing (along with their beloved Corgis!), and a reception with Cougar Hunter - 80s Hair Metal Tribute where Melanie sang and Gregg played alongside them.

The entire wedding felt unmistakably like them: personal, expressive, and entirely uninterested in becoming someone else’s version of what a wedding should be.

Here’s the first look at a day that belonged completely to them at Copper Forge Distilling.
