So many weird things going on with this pack of film.

Too bad the Varsity is no longer a movie theater. At least they didn't tear it down. The original theater was opened back in 1926 and closed in 1997. The final showing was the movie Face Off with Nicholas Cage and John Travolta. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

A few of the first images from the
I really love the half-frame format. The camera has gotten a decent amount of s**t since it came out, but I am a fan. There are a few quirks, but it's much easier to accept the minor flaws and focus on all the good the camera gives you. I will post a few videos about it all, the good and the just OK parts of it. It's an easy go-to camera that will probably always be with me.

I always love a few little orbs showing up in photos. Here are a few shots at the Nelson Atkins Museum- a couple of more normal looking shots from a temperature controlled environment- then a shot in the blazing heat.. Maybe I need to be in San Diego, where its always about 75 and sunny?

A few shots from Kansas last week. There were definitely some issues with that film, but love that it's always unique. Thanks for all of the comments about what was going on. Some people thought it was the ND. Others thought it was a s**tty ND, some thought heat. I am leaning towards heat. It's been blazing hot everywhere you go. Even with the camera sitting in an airconditioned car, a few minutes out there, multiple times probably just lends itself to pinkish looking film. Going back to the midwest this week, so maybe a tweak on how I handle the film and I will shoot a few more packs. Still a fun way to shoot in all things digital these days.

They sometimes pose, but most of the time they don’t really care. They are more difficult to photograph than dogs, but they seem to know when they are feeling themselves. Good subjects for a candid moment. I love collecting old photos of peoples pets. Even better when the people are in the photo. Maybe someday somebody will find these and be just as excited to see a snapshot of someone’s pet.
