🤠🐾 PAWS & PISTOLS — Lucy & Dune’s Birthday Roundup! 🔫🎂

Well, things got a little ruff in town when Lucy & Dune threw their annual birthday paw-ty… and this year, they went FULL WESTERN. 🤠🐶

These two adorable Australian Cobberdoodles invited all their favorite pup friends for a day of cowboy hats, western photo booth fun, swag bags, birthday cake, and enough cuteness to cause a serious disturbance in the territory. 😂

And yes… I was there to capture ALL of it! 📸

From the tiniest cowpups to the biggest personalities, this wasn’t just a birthday party—it was a full-on Paw-ty of the Year! 🐾🎉

And here’s the best part…

Felix may have the tiniest paw, but apparently, he takes his high-five responsibilities very seriously. 🐾

One little paw up, and suddenly he and his Dog Dad look like they just closed a very important business deal.

But honestly, behind this adorable little high five is the sweetest bond. Felix clearly knows his Dad is his person—and Dad is more than happy to accept all the tiny paw slaps, kisses, and unconditional love that come with the job. ❤️

Tiny paw. Big personality. Even bigger love. 🐾❤️

🌅The moments that matter most...

Some photographs are about capturing a beautiful image. Others are about capturing a little piece of someone’s life together.

For Vulley, her favorite things are pretty simple: being at the beach with her Mom and chasing bubbles—her absolute favorite thing in the world. 🫧🐾

So that’s exactly what we did.

As the sun began to set, Vulley got to do the things she loves most, surrounded by the person she loves most. Running, playing, chasing bubbles, and soaking a beautiful beach day together.

And Mom got to hold onto this moment forever. ❤️

This is why I love what I do. I’m not just photographing dogs. I’m capturing the things that make them them and the beautiful connection they share with their people.
Because someday, it won’t just be a photograph of a dog at sunset.

It will be Vulley. Her Mom. The beach. The bubbles. And a day they got to simply be together. ✨

Meet Cinnamon! Her Mom received a photo session as a gift. She has always wanted profession photos of Cinnamon.

The best portraits happen when a dog gets to be completely themselves so she decided her backyard would be best location for her photo shoot. 📸

Cinnamon didn’t need to sit perfectly or hold a pose. She simply rolled onto her back, looked up at me with those impossibly sweet eyes, and gave me a glimpse of exactly who she is—playful, trusting, and completely adorable.

Because years from now, I don’t just want you to remember what your dog looked like. I want you to remember what it felt like to be with them. 🤎🐾

There’s something incredibly satisfying about creating a photograph like this the old-fashioned way.

A tiny clawfoot tub. A patient pup. Thoughtful styling. Good light. Perfect timing. And a whole lot of treats. 🤍

In a world where almost anything can be generated with AI, there’s something magical about knowing this moment actually happened. No prompts. No pixels invented. Just a real dog, a real set, and a real cuteness captured through my lens.

Whimsical images like these remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. Creating something imaginative that’s tangible, authentic, and completely unique is a feeling AI can’t replicate.

The best part? Watching my clients smile when they realize this wasn’t created on a computer—it was created together.

“Tell me about that special thing on your dog that makes your heart melt without telling me about that special thing”

Katie’s eyes are so inviting and loving when she looks me. She speaks to me without saying a word. This is my absolute favorite thing about my Katie.

I ask this question to every single client I have. I believe it is an important one. I always love to hear the answers and make sure I find creative ways to include this in their photos during their photo session.
