Rare Leica I with matching Elmar 5cm 3.5 nickel lens. This Leica I is a Leica factory converted to Leica II by changing top cover to include a rangefinder and keeping original Leica I serial #. Images were shot with this camera on Fuji 200. I’m always amazed at the quality a nearly 100 year old camera can produce.

A true collectors camera that can still be used to produce beautiful images.

It’s always inspiring when shooting classic cameras. These were all shot on a 1946 Leica IIIc with a 1936 Leica Elmar 50mm 3.5 (uncoated) lens on Gold 200. Truly amazing that quality from 90 years ago can still create beautiful images today.
