apparently today marks the start of world breast feeding week ✨ Lulu was 6 months old in these pics and here we are 20 months in and 27 weeks pregnant still going strong💛 there’s something so magical about getting to nourish and provide comfort for Lu while also feeling her baby sis kick and move around. It’s a feeling I will never ever forget and cherish forever. It’s a holy feeling. Makes me think it’s a little sliver of heaven here on earth. ☁️

Most ppl when they find out I’m still nursing while pregnant think I’m absolutely insane and, honestly, they may be right😆 it’s the most challenging and sacrificial thing I’ve ever done but something I know without a shadow of doubt I was made to do. I joke all of the time I don’t know how to parent without a nuh-nuh as Lu calls it. 😅 I’m so thankful the lord made me these girls’ mama and I pray our nursing journey continues once baby sis is here 🫶🏻

Whatever your feeding or nursing journey is or was I hope you feel seen and loved. Being a mama, no matter how you feed your baby is some of the holiest work and deserves to be celebrated 24/7

even the photographer’s kid doesn’t sit still and smile a real smile for pics 😆😆😆 poor Lu always gets the rushed last min sessions🥲 like this probably lasted all of 5 min but I’ll take what I can get hehehe

I always want to do pics of her in this flower patch because the first year Nonie and I planted it I was pregnant with her 🥹 Nonie does all the work now every summer and she has it looking so pretty this year 🌼🌷🍃☀️
