I was beyond honored when one of my regular mini session families asked me to photograph their extended family for a 50th Anniversary gift.

This is your reminder that it's Senior Photo Season!

It's an honor to see this beautiful girl grow from a baby into a gorgeous senior inside and out. BreeAnne is my bestie's daughter and has the sweetest personality.

We planned to take 20-30 minutes worth of senior photos downtown for this session, but a deluge of rain moved in, and despite our best efforts, it was impossible. So we opted for Roanoke with just enough sunlight to spare, and it was so much fun! I loved having a new place to photograph, spending time with my bestie and her sweet girl.

It's always an honor and a privilege to photograph an extended family session. It can be a lot of work for families to coordinate schedules and outfits, and hopefully coincide with beautiful weather, but it is always 100% worth it! This was an extra special extended family session because it was booked specifically for the parents' 50th wedding anniversary.

This was my first time photographing this family, and they were so kind and fun, and the weather was beautiful but windy. They did an amazing job!
