Rodney A. Morrow Photography Inc. I transform my images digitally to creatively represent what my vision dictates This collaboration culminated in the creation of "The Inner Room" by Rodney A.

My images reflect a deeply spiritual and inspiring connection to our world displaying the beauty of Creation to motivate others to see the splendor in the world around them. Rodney Arvel Morrow (born 1950 in Harlem, New York City) is a fine arts photographer based in the Charlotte, NC area. His images reflect a deeply-spiritual connection to nature and the environment, capturing the beauty of crea

tion through his unique vision. During his time at Tufts University in the 1970s, Rodney took several courses at the Museum School of Fine Arts (MSFA) in Boston. At MSFA, Rodney honed his skills as a previsualization photographer, capable of envisioning the final image before clicking the shutter. The curriculum enhanced his abilities through studies of various photographic styles, camera mechanics, composition rules, optimal film exposure and development techniques, and darkroom methodologies. With the advent of new digital technologies for capturing and producing images, Rodney has expanded his artistic vision to previously unimagined vistas. Upon completing his studies at Drew University's Seminary, Rodney became an ordained minister and worked as a hospital chaplain. In this role, he led national prayer meetings for chaplains, presenting his evocative images and asking participants to write what God had placed on their hearts within three minutes. During one particularly moving session, Marcel Duclos authored a poem for each image. The powerful combination of Duclos's prose and Morrow's photographs profoundly affected the meeting participants. Morrow and Marcel A. Duclos, published in November 2020. Rodney has been a member of the Professional Photographers of America since 2020, further solidifying his commitment to his craft. As he continues his artistic journey, Rodney invites you to explore his current and future images, drawing inspiration from his unique photographic perspective that seamlessly blends spirituality with visual artistry.

In Matthew 6:28, Jesus, in this profoundly illuminating and thought-provoking teaching, gently instructs His devoted followers to take a heartfelt moment to pause and observe the exquisite and enchanting lilies of the field, encouraging them to reflect thoughtfully and deeply on how these remarkable flowers are adorned in their strikingly vivid and captivating beauty. It is noteworthy to recognize that these delicate and astonishing blooms do not toil or spin in laborious effort to prepare their lovely garments or outfits. This poignant and carefully worded passage emphatically emphasizes that God, in His infinite wisdom, boundless love, and goodness, demonstrates His deep care and concern for even the most beautiful and delicate aspects of His wondrous creation, which unmistakably includes these vibrant and colorful flowers. Moreover, it reassures us, His beloved people, that He will also provide for, care for, and nurture us with the same equal grace, abundant generosity, and unwavering attention that He bestows upon all of His creations.

On September 25, 2014, I took my grandchildren, Korrine who was 12, Krysten was 7, and Connor was 4, to Yankee Stadium. It was the last home game for Derek Jeter, The Captain. We are big fans of Jeter. Korrine still wears her Jeter cap, Krysten still has her pink Yankee cap and her foam finger with Jeter's name and number and Connor has his Yankee Classic cap.

The Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles were tied 5 all when Jeter came to bat, with 1 out and a man on second. Orioles manager Buk Showalter replaced pitcher Joe Saunders with Evan Meek who had allowed a single to Jose Pirela to begin the inning. Antoan Richardson pinch-ran for Pirela. Brett Gardner laid down a sacrifice bunt to advance Richardson to second base. Jeter's trademark inside-out swing took the first pitch and singled to right Richardson beat the throw home. The Captain in his last at-bat at Yankee Stadium had delivered a walk-off victory to his team.

This image was taken from a photograph I did as Jeter singled and was digitally processed to this. The Captain.
