When in quarantine, take a trip to the redwoods, see a lot of nature, stand in awe, return home, and then spend the next month stressing about editing everything you shot for no reason, only for it only to end up in little squares on a tiny screen just to remember you were “there.”
Really struggling to keep myself on a creative roll in shooting/editing/sharing, but it’s been a weird year so let’s all remember to be kinder to ourselves, right?
Anyway, scenes from a silent, ancient forest are a panacea for burnout, or so I told myself as I began to tone the shots I took over the trip.
2020, you were terrible, but there were some shining lights. This month as we wrap up the longest year ever I’ll be posting some of the other work that I’ve shot, buried on my hard drive, and never did anything with. Stay tuned!
