Just your friendly, neighborhood storm chaser screaming at clouds and trying to be a good man!

Media featured on ABC (Good Morning America), CBS, NBC, TWC, Fox News and AccuWeather. Storm Chaser Eli Roberts began storm chasing in 1995 when he, two of his brothers and some friends started a local chase team called Dark Sky's Chase and Response Team, or DSCaRT for short. When an F0 tornado caused damage in the Hughesville area in 1994, the event literally blew the door in on Eli and sparked an ongoing battle to learn and study these beautiful, yet terrifying monsters. Now in his 29th year of storm chasing, Eli provides local and national media outlets with video packages covering every type of weather related event(s) that occurs in and around Northcentral Pennsylvania, including in the states of New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Ohio. As a National Media Storm Chaser/Stringer for LSM (Live Storms Media), he has provided video content that has appeared on The Weather Channel, ABC and Good Morning America, CBS, Fox News, AccuWeather and NBC. I went up to Ricketts Glen State Park today in Sullivan County to soak up some beautiful sunshine and see what's left of the fall colors. Most of the trees at Ricketts Glen and Lake Jean are bare but there are a few that still have some pretty leaves hanging on!

All of these pictures are from up top at Lake Jean. At the end of the pictures, you'll see I captured a pair of bald eagles flying around just West of the beach. Enjoy!

A Nor'Easter Is Coming! Late Saturday into early Sunday a low pressure system will get its act together and tighten up just off the US East Coast and send huge waves, strong winds and heavy rain up and down the coastline. This will be nearly a week-long event, so be prepared and hang on!

While we are looking at a cool day today, we could see some showers and maybe even a rumble of thunder across , , and portions of the Mid-Atlantic.

However, tomorrow is going to be a rather big day for a few reasons. Let's discuss.

🟡 First, the Storm Prediction Center has upgraded tomorrow's threat to a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5, Yellow) across portions of Pennsylvania, , , , and Northern .

"Scattered severe storms capable of damaging wind gusts and perhaps a brief tornado or two are possible in parts of the Mid-Atlantic Friday afternoon and evening." - SPC

Scattered storms will develop out ahead of an expected line of storms and heavy rain. These isolated storms will likely be capable of producing damaging winds, torrential rain and even a low chance of a tornado!

Most of these storms will get picked up by the line of storms that will swing through in the afternoon and evening.

Again, the main threats tomorrow are damaging winds, torrential rain and even a slight chance for a tornado or two.

More info tomorrow morning.

Once we get past tomorrow, Saturday will be CHILLY and in some places downright cold. SNOW is definitely likely, mostly just flakes floating around the area making for a fun and amazing environment with fall colors all over!

Models are still showing the possibility of light snow this weekend! Light snow, likely no accumulation but some grassy surfaces may get a dusting!

Scattered showers and maybe even a thunderstorm are possible over the next few days with warm, almost Summer-like temps moving into the Pennsylvania!

🟢 The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5, Dark Green) over the next three days. For today, Day 1, Southern , Western , , Northern , Southern , Southern and across Northern are all in the Marginal Risk zone for severe thunderstorms.

🟡A Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms is possible across down into Western .

🌧 For here in Pennsylvania, rainfall amounts will not be high enough to worry about flooding, but some stronger storms could drop heavy rain and cause ponding of water and water to collect in low-lying areas. While someone will be lucky and get some thunder over the next couple of days, most everyone will likley not see any heavy rain, just some showers.

Friday will be a very warm day but a cold front should blast through in the afternoon/evening hours, and temps will drop quickly! More on this weekends weather as we get closer, including the threat for snow flakes!

The leaves all across the Susquehanna Valley are changing, both right along the river and up high on the ridge tops!

The beautiful sunshine is making the leaves absolutely burst with vivid and remarkable color!

I have big hopes and plans to get some more photos and even some drone video in the coming days. Stay tuned for that.

What a gorgeous evening for soccer here in Hughesville!

The sundogs were bright and the color brilliant.

Then, THE SUNSET! The pale pinks in the thin, whispy clouds were replaced with bright yellows that then transitioned into deep orange! Then the eruption of the beautiful sunset lit up the sky for several minutes!

What a great way to end a beautiful day!
