What a beautiful life you have created for yourselves and your family. The evening you had invited me to your home; I felt the respect you feel for each other. I admire the way you both love your children; supporting them in learning about themselves and their world.

-the place that you understand, for them, is a place of safety and comfort- THAT is a big deal. That, I believe, takes trust.

A month ago, my family took a trip to St. John in the USVI.
My husband and I had taken a belated honeymoon there over a decade ago, and I've ALWAYS wanted to go back.

I really wanted our kids to experience the islands magic.

I had a few moments while we were there, where I really was overcome with emotion not just because of the incredible beauty of the island, but also witnessing our kids truly experiencing the magic too:
.. my daughter discovering everything under the water... swimming with nurse sharks, touching sea turtles... just exploring.. and seeing her SO EXCITED to be discovering it all. Pure joy and intrigue.

There was a moment with my son...
I watched him just gazing out at the ocean - this particular spot on the island was powerful - big, intense, crashing waves. I could feel his energy connecting with the ocean... I could FEEL his calm.

It was such a beautiful moment. It's a picture in my mind.
.. One time I actually teared up while I was snorkeling, (wouldn't recommend btw... makes it kinda hard to see). But I was looking at these beautiful fish and suddenly felt so thankful to be experiencing that moment and so thankful that my kids were experiencing such beautiful moments too.

I AM SO THANKFUL TO BE ABLE TO FEEL.

The show opening reception at the Art Academy of Milton was INCREDIBLE!! 🥰 SO many of you came out to support me, the 13 women up on the walls, and Transitions of PA. You sipped on Wild Bloom Tonics, enjoyed the Gourmet Grazing board, took tours of the art academy, and most likely got a huge hug from me.
