Hi! If you’re new here - I’m Katie! 👋

Just a little about me:

- I am a Houston area photographer who specializes in Weddings.
- I love Jesus & love my church community!
- Been married to for almost 11 years. 🙂
- I’m a homeschooling mom of 4 kids ages 7 & under.
- I used to be a school teacher before diving into photography as a business in 2018, though I’ve always loved it as a hobby.
- I’ve been a vegetarian my whole life, I just simply do not like the taste of meat 😅.
- Snow-cones are the elite choice of sweet treat & summer is my favorite season 😎🍉⛱️!

During Lindsey & Jack’s wedding ceremony - the light coming in from an overhead window illuminated them as the Priest blessed and prayed over them.

It reminded me of Numbers 6:25 when it says,
“The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you“

The light was SHINING, I’ll tell ya! A beautiful moment to witness and document.

This whole day was a moment!!! Lindsey and Jack did a fantastic job honoring their friends and family for their impact in their lives as they celebrate their first day of marriage. They truly had a knack for making those around them feel loved and seen. It was evident from their timeline, decorations, thank you gifts, written notes, down to the smallest little details.
To be loved by these two is to be loved & loved deeply.

It was an honor to be a part.

Every wedding is unique & I treasure every wedding day I get to document. Truly - it’s a privilege. I love seeing how you’ve shaped your day to reflect you and your new spouse. I enjoy watching your families as they join and enter a new season of life with you.

One of my underrated FAVORITES are church weddings.

I love getting the opportunity to be creative in a venue that wasn’t necessarily created for wedding portraits.

What I love MORE about church weddings is when it’s a sentimental location for you. A place where you’ve grown & others have watched you grow.

This particular wedding was where Klark & Ari grew up and met. It’s where their friends and families have seen them grown into the man and woman of God they are today. It was so special seeing their guests so overwhelmingly excited for these two!

Klark walked down aisle with his Grandfather, a first I’ve seen - and boy! The pride in his grandfather’s face made me tear up, not going to lie.

Klark & Ari had communion during their ceremony, worshipped with their friends and family, & during the reception they spent the majority of their time SERVING their guests slices of cake and making sure everyone got a nice photo with them (who wanted one).

It was a pleasure being a part of this day!

& I’m like, my people!!!!
ALSO they got married on one of the coldest days I’ve ever shot in & look at them - can’t even tell it’s 25 degrees. They really were troopers & honestly it was the best day!!
