# 2 of 7

Here's the second of my portraits of the seven 2026 Cleveland Arts Prize Winners.

This year’s Robert P. Bergman Prize award winner is Héctor Castellanos-Lara!
Having collaborated extensively with the The Cleveland Museum of Art for more than two decades through Parade the Circle, Chalk Festival, and Winter Lights, he now serves as the Artistic Director of Parade the Circle. He has also contributed to projects with Cleveland Public Theatre, MetroHealth, ArtHouse, Journey Center for Safety and Healing, the Allen Memorial Art Museum and Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Ctr. Beyond exhibitions and installations, as an artist Héctor’s work has transformed lives through education and healing.

Please join me at the 66th Annual Cleveland Arts Prize Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at the The Cleveland Museum of Art.

Number one of seven!

Over the last several weeks, I had the honor of taking portraits of the seven 2026 Cleveland Arts Prize Winners!

This year’s Martha Joseph Prize for Distinguished Service to the Arts award winner is Terry Stewart!

Serving as CEO of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum from 1999 - 2013, Terry is a true community and civic champion. Through his leadership as CEO of the Rock Hall, he enhanced a strong relationship with the New York City-based Foundation which resulted in initiating the “every other year” location of the Rock induction Ceremony in Cleveland. This was a huge accomplishment for the Hall, the City of Cleveland and the State of Ohio. He undertook a successful capital campaign, retained the location of the Library and Archives in Cleveland, and stabilized attendance at the Rock Hall.

Please join me, my wife, Lisa, and many others of Cleveland's art community at the 66th Annual Cleveland Arts Prize Awards Ceremony recognizing Terry and six others on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at The Cleveland Museum of Art.
