I had the privilege of photographing four generations of women at the Cu**er Museum of Art and Gardens back in October 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. Very nice family.

Photographed the Celebrity Surf and Turf fundraising event for the Allen Robinson Within Reach Foundation in October 2017 at the Epping Forest Yacht Club in Jacksonville. Allen Robinson was a wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars at that time. He was he was on crutches that night because he was injured the very first game of the season. The first photo shows the feet of these Jaguars players cut off because there was a table in the way so I had to crop it this way. It was very tight quarters in that room, but that is where they wanted the picture made. Next to Allen Robinson in the black shirt is Leonard Fournette, a running back, who later went on to play with Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The player second from the right in that photo is Blake Bortles who was the first string quarterback. Blake is now retired from professional football. He is also in the fourth photo. Allen Robinson now plays for the Detroit Lions. His organization provides educational opportunities for low income and inner city youth.

This is Reece Weaver. Back in 2013, when she was 12, her mom and dad asked me to photograph her and her for a clogging competition. She is now playing on Broadway in the role of Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago in NYC. For 2 years, she was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, and was featured in the Netflix series about those cheerleaders called America’s Sweethearts. She gives all the glory to God in all of her success. She is an amazing testimony. Her mom and dad are friends of mine. Her mom and I grew up in the same church, and her paternal grandfather became pastor of that same church in later years. I will never forget that her mom and dad visited my dad when he was sick with brain cancer. My mom and dad were well known at their church, the church where I grew up. My mom and dad knew all 4 of her grandparents. Reece is happily married. I don’t get into musicals very much even though I am a music lover, but I would definitely go see her perform.

Finally, a new website coming very soon. I will also be offering high quality wall art and print albums to past clients and new clients. In addition, my focus will be more on portrait sessions rather than weddings. I will still photograph weddings, but that will not be my main focus. In other words, I won’t advertise for wedding photography, but I will photograph a wedding if someone requests it.
In a few months, I will be doing some stock photography that be used for advertising. That will be a new venture.

Correction: I had a “post” about that a few weeks ago. Not a “list” lol. Typo corrected. That was a heck of a typo.
It’s a unique experience photographing a wedding when you’ve never married. Why have I never been married? My relationships over the years have ended for all different reasons. I could actually write a book about the experiences. The experiences, not the women themselves, and names would be changed to protect privacy. It would be very respectful. The book would actually cover my whole life from being an only child, and being painfully shy in middle school. I became a lot less shy by my senior year in high school, but I’ve always been an introvert. It’s been painful and lonely at times throughout my life. For the last 17 years, I have avoided dating except for one woman 12-13 years ago, but that was 3 dates, and never got serious. My last serious relationship goes back to 2008. I had a post about that a few weeks back. There was one opportunity back in 2020, but I did not follow it. All of these experiences over my lifetime have brought me closer to God. I photograph weddings knowing how precious it is it is to preserve memories for brides and grooms. But now, here in the present, I am opening myself back up to a possible relationship.

I photographed the wedding of Jeremy and Jordan in November 2024 in Elkin, NC. Very nice couple. These are some of the many edited photos from that wedding. When I say “edit,” I mean that I crop the photo and fine tune the light balance. I posted more photos than usual here on Facebook for a single wedding. Even so, this post is only about 20% of the total edited photos I made for this wedding.
