“The Link” between my photos was the gorgeous sky! The color blocks were intended to be the primary clue.

I was out for a walk in El Dorado Hills, CA (just north of Sacramento) when I decided to take a cellphone picture of a blossoming pear tree. (It’s great to have a phone that fits in your pocket!) When I aimed the camera toward the tree, what struck me was the clarity and richness of the deep blue sky behind it. Oh my, it was pretty!

I looked up for the remainder of my walk. Watching the variation in tones from powder blue low in the sky to a deep indigo when looking straight up. I just kept snapping photos.

The clarity, depth and beauty sucked me in. It’s no wonder blue is my favorite color. I literally had this thought.

I also realized my appreciation might be even greater because winters in Ohio have a tendency to be on the gray side. Am I right? But the snow is an amazingly crisp white!

I’m guessing my riddle wasn’t as deep or mysterious as you may have thought, but…who knows…maybe you’ll take note of tomorrow’s sky.

I loved the fact that you spent time considering it and offering your own perspectives and insights.

And just because I’m curious, what’s your favorite color?

Postscript: I added the 2nd collage clue because my next walk featured another gorgeous sky…but this time with much more muted tones and constantly changing cloudscapes. This shot was my favorite. 😄📸❤️

Riddle Clue #2

I love the responses and guesses posted in the first riddle. I also love that I got some responses via Messenger.

I had a family member protest verbally, “well what you see may not be what I see!” Implying that the “game” isn’t “fair.” Of course, this is absolutely correct!

It isn’t about being right or wrong. It’s just a silly (and hopefully fun) .

And who knows…maybe we’ll learn something about how we (and/or others) “see” what’s around them. I’ve already learned from the few who’ve chimed in. Thanks for playing!

An answer is coming, truly! But I thought I’d offer this 2nd round clue. Enjoy!!
