Today was a very unusual day at the lake. Didn’t see many eagles which is odd. Here’s the few I did see. I saw one adult as I drove by the main nest but didn’t stop. These younger adults were it.

Spent the first hour here first thing this morning not seeing much at all, far cry from yesterday morning at Carriage Hill. Took about several dozen cobwebs along the way and then finally, several White-throated Sparrows started bopping about.

The American Kestrel was a pleasant surprise to find today! Haven’t captured one in quite some time. I came here looking...

The American Kestrel was a pleasant surprise to find today! Haven’t captured one in quite some time. I came here looking to see if the Horned Larks were back yet or see the bluebirds but only saw this lovely. The last pic shows who knocked it off its perched-now that was a shocker lol

Spent 2 hours walking around the lake because there was so much to watch! So so many Yellow-rumped Warblers and Kinglets...
