The trees went quiet over night..

Snowflakes drifting down like they had nowhere else to be.

Slowing everything down.
There’s something about fresh snow that asks you to pause…

to breathe a little deeper…

to notice the way the world feels when it’s wrapped in stillness.

This house on the hill was made for mornings like this

warm coffee in hand,
windows fogged just enough,

no rush waiting for you.

I’m typically somewhere warm this time of year ☀️ 🌴
But this year looks different.. more intentional.
As I set out to embrace the snow… all 16” of it..
a chill settling into my feet and legs—
aching in the cold.

And still… a silent the beauty I can appreciate in a way I haven’t before.

Winter looks different up here.

Slower. Softer. Intentional

Almost like the world is inviting you to rest.
This is La Casa—

a cozy retreat tucked into the hills of Ohio,

Slip on the mossy rocks in the water? Check ✔️
The camera was safe and I got the shot, that’s all that matters 🤣

Climb a tree? No problem
Scale the side of a bridge? You bet
Stand on the top step of a rickety ladder? Been there
Getting table topped by random objects behind me bc there’s a camera in my face? Done that.

But I ALWAYS get the shot 👏

this artistic, artistic little dude picked out the bed for the Willow room and has super strong opinions whenever you ask him what he thinks.

Do you think I designed this Airbnb? - it was all Z 😂

He’s intentional and smart and very gentle, creative emotionally intelligent. Our relationship is peaceful and he gets me.

Thankful for my little man ❤️

Peep the archways on my porch 🥺 it’s one of the first things that caught my eye when I bought the house! So so blessed!

The Willow Room holds a mirror that broke in shipment and I couldn’t let a beautiful mirror go to waste. With some glue, moss, air plants and a little creativity; the one of a kind unique mirror lives in this room.

La Casa is full of artful moments like that, little pieces of my heart spread through out this home. I hope you take the chance to enjoy a stay or photoshoot here,
