So… I guess this is me 😅

Of course, this carousel still doesn’t show everything.

There’s also normal life behind all of this home, family, everyday things, responsibilities, rest… all the boring human stuff

And there are things that constantly keep me inspired.

Beautiful people inspire me. Talented photographers inspire me. Art, fashion, light, random details I notice somewhere during the day.

And MUSIC.

I listen to music ALL THE TIME. When I work, when I edit, when I drive, when I train, when I rest. Music can completely change my mood and sometimes give me an entire idea for a shoot.

I think my brain is just constantly collecting little pieces of inspiration from everywhere and turning them into something.

So yeah… this is Victoria Arw.

A lot of work. A lot of ideas. A little chaos 👀
And a person who is still learning, growing, dreaming and genuinely enjoying the life she’s building. ❤️

Question for photographers 👀

Do you prefer working alone or with an assistant?

I’ve realized that I actually work better on my own. It’s not that I need to control everything it’s just hard for me to hand over any part of my creative process to someone else. I already see the final image in my head, and sometimes it feels easier to just do everything myself.

And somehow, my best shots often happen when it’s just me, my camera, and the model.

Do you work better alone or with a team?

And I’m talking specifically about creative shoots.

I actually LOVE working with a team when it comes to commercial projects, where the concept, goals, and final result are more clearly defined.

But personal creative work is different. Sometimes even I don’t know exactly what I’m trying to create until I see it happening in front of me. You can start with one reference and one idea in your head, and somehow end up with something completely different and even better.

That unpredictability is part of the creative process for me. And maybe that’s exactly why it’s so hard to share it with someone else.
