Photographing Sarah reminded me of something I needed to hear myself: stop waiting. Just get in the photos.

It’s easy to always be the one behind the lens, but our memories deserve to exist from both sides of the camera. 🤍

So if you’ve been needing that gentle push, here it is.

You don’t have to wait until you’ve lost the extra pounds. You don’t have to wait until you find the perfect outfit, your hair is just right, or life feels a little less busy. (Speaking this over myself as a postpartum mom just trying to feel like herself)

The people who love you aren’t waiting for the “perfect” version of you, they just want to remember you, exactly as you are in this season. Now go take the photos!

I love seeing brides bring color, texture, and pattern into their wedding day. One of my favorite ways to do that is through the bridesmaids dresses. Floral prints, mixed fabrics, varying shades, and different silhouettes become another layer of the wedding design. A way to pull inspiration from the florals, linens, stationery, venue, or even the season itself.

Instead of feeling separate from the design, the bridal party becomes part of it. ✨
