A little reminder to get in front of the camera every once in a while. Self portraits are no joke, but we’re getting there. 😅

Between Seasons ~ Inspired by the shift from winter to spring to summer, this editorial is about embracing change, letting go of what no longer fits, and stepping confidently into what’s next.

This was such a fun one to create and bring to life. I’m incredibly grateful to my talented team. Couldn’t have done it without y’all. 🤍

The moment I heard this song, everything clicked. I already had the concept in mind: an ode to loving your skin and embracing who you are as a Black woman. I kept the setup simple, so I could be intentional with the portraits. In fact, it was so simple that we shot right in the entryway of my parent’s house lol. Pearls symbolize wisdom, beauty, and resilience, and the result ended up being some of my favorite portraits! 🤍
