So, I got a little something for myself…a new website!! 🎁 This project has been almost a year in the making and I can’t believe it’s finally finished.
I first met with .design in March and he interviewed me asking about my interests, aspirations, the story of my business, and really took the time to get to know me. We worked together on selecting the typeface, logos, animations, color palette, layout etc. Every single thing you see has been customized and created just for me.
My site not only showcases some of my favorite colors, but my active restaurant clients over the past two years. You’ll find extensive examples of my work from each project in the “Food & Beverage” section and I couldn’t be happier with the layout. I have been pulling content for this part of the site since July, and it required hours and hours of decision making and organizing.
And then there’s something just for me- my “Travel” section. I love food photography, but it’s always for someone else. The Travel page is something I wanted to have for myself. It’s a very personal collection of many happy memories and a step in a new direction. Right now travel photography is a hobby, but I would love to see where it could take me.
This endeavor has been a heavy lift and required a lot of sacrifice. It hasn’t been the easiest year, and I pushed this project to the side countless times because my work and personal life were first priority. I can’t thank Daniel enough for his patience and dedication throughout this process. He has blown me away with his attention to detail, professionalism, and kind disposition. I am so lucky to have worked with him and proud of what we’ve created together.
I am especially grateful to my husband Lance. He has been beyond supportive this year and in my corner the entire time. He has picked up the slack around the house, made every dinner this year, and given me the grace to be glued to my computer screen night after night. I dedicate this site to him and to Zeus who was always curled up under my arm, or at my feet in the office. It is especially hard to not have him here now that everything is done, but I’m so grateful for all of the countless hours we had together while I worked on this.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me over the years. Thank you to my clients who continue to put their faith in me. I am extremely proud of this accomplishment and can’t wait to add to it in the new year. Now, it’s finally time to put the computer away and enjoy the holidays!! 🥂✨
