The forest is mystery, but the desert is truth. 🌵 Life bared to the bone. A visit to is a spiritual awakening, and not just when you learn that the Joshua tree can only reproduce through its own destruction. Sacrifice is natures way of propagation. The animals here can do so much with so little. Except us humans, we still need it all. Maybe actually all we need is a good camera and a sense of perspective. And some good shoes, of course 😉

On this (women crush Wednesday) I am pleased to share this that I did with 🌟 for her MBA program at . This girl is the perfect combo of brains, beauty, style, drive for success.... and impeccable posing technique! 😜 we did headshots, of course, but I couldn’t resist a few editorial looks, especially considering all the gorgeous geometric lines that you can find around the rice university campus.
I am incredibly lucky to be surrounded by ladies who are always striving to reinvent themselves, and therefore inspire me to do the same. In my mind, it’s ALWAYS 💥

This bright beauty has been my since back in the day when I considered myself more of a fashionista than a photographer. I took her up on her offer to be my guinea pig for a , and the rest - as they say - is history! It’s been my honor and pleasure to photograph her in the past few milestone moments of her and her beautamous family’s lives, and this maternity shoots is one of my favorites!

It’s one is the worst flu seasons ever and the last thing a new mom wants to do is to take their itty bitty little out into the geeky world, even to take their newborn pics. The Answer: an at home newborn shoot! This lovely lady dotes not just on her daughter Olivia, but also on her plants, and has the most beautifully accessorized balcony. I think there’s even more oxygen out there 😂The weather cooperated (thank you houston winters 🙏🏻)and we were able to get the sweetest shoot done on just her balcony! The have their cutest little fan yet!
