🎄✨ Christmas memories like these will always have my heart.

Back when my grandkids were just toddlers, we spent a magical day at the tree farm picking out the perfect Christmas tree. One photo is a sweet smiling face, another is just a pair of tiny pink boots peeking out from under the evergreens… I think someone was hiding, but those boots gave it away. 💕 And then there’s my grandson, taking it all in with that little sparkle of holiday wonder.

Now they’re all grown so fast, but these photos remind me that Christmas isn’t just about the tree… it’s about the moments, the laughter, and the memories we hold onto through the years. So thankful I get to freeze these seasons in time. 📸❤️

When elegance meets athleticism.

Just finished an incredible podcast…and wow, it was spot on. 🎧✨
I first heard Annie Leibovitz speak in Santa Fe, and her insight still resonates. One of my favorite reminders: you shouldn’t notice the camera… you should feel the moment.

This Wiser Than Me episode dives into Annie’s vision, ambition, aging, and the beauty of being truly seen, plus a heartfelt mother-daughter chat about family photos. Such a meaningful listen for any creative soul. 💛

I did something new this Thanksgiving and it was so worth the early alarm. ☀️💪
I joined my friend, Sampson for F3 Family Day, a men’s workout group that meets around Houston at 5:30 AM. F3 stands for Faith Fellowship and Fitness and it truly is a band of brothers.

The workout was family friendly toned down but I still earned every Turkey Thrust Casserole Lunge and Sweet Potato Squat. 😂🦃🥔 At the end of your very first F3 workout they ask you a few questions and give you your own F3 name which is such a fun tradition.

F3 genuinely changed Sampson’s life. After losing his hearing he felt lonely and disconnected and this group gave him purpose community and joy again. Watching the men give new kids their names this Thanksgiving morning meant more than I can put into words. 💛

My first time doing anything close to a Turkey Trot, I trotted myself right to the Tallowood Baptist parking lot and had the best time.

With Thanksgiving tomorrow, I’ve been reflecting on the power of gratitude, and what I’ve been reading lately truly resonates. When we start the day looking for things to be thankful for and believing it’s going to be a great one, our brain immediately gets to work proving us right. 🙌 One of my best friends and I decided to declare every morning that today will be the best day, and would you believe it… we’ve been having some of the best days yet. 💛

Today, I’m especially grateful for the friends who walk beside me, and for the clients who trusted me to capture their memories and in the process became friends. 📸✨

Here’s to choosing gratitude, because it truly changes everything. Wishing you a Thanksgiving filled with thankfulness, joy, and beautiful moments.
