Happy Holidays,

In this season, all I can think of is being selfless.

This is a young man I personally know. I took photography for his music project and personally took it upon me to help him when I can because he was so welcoming to me when I moved to Houston. Later on I found out that he has basically help raised himself since 7 years old with his mom that suffers a degenerative immune condition.

I have a lot of admiration and respect for him and this is due soon and will save his mom’s life.

Please help me help on this Christmas eve.

Studio time!

Little to tell you I will resume some photoshoots outside and with distance.

I like to keep my photoshoot musically inclined, this is a hobby of mine in conjunction with my love for music discovery and well, basically bating in the music industry for many years! I especially love when there is an instrument involved in the image, even studio equipment, guitars, saxophone, headphones, 🎙 mics, name it!!!!

We still hang out! Just taking a walk down Montrose and Westheimer looking at everyone that are walking into businesses. We are good outside! Food at home is fine to! 🤷‍♀️😎😷

And this is not out of fear! Do not come at me with your “Don’t panic”.

no... If you saw me right now, I am extremely relaxed at home, working from home and avoiding anything not essential.

If I have to go somewhere I wear a mask yes, but as you heard, wearing my mask is mainly to protect others.

So what I do to protect myself is staying more then 6 feet away from people mask or no mask.

Now a big mistake I see is people wearing masks and hugging... please understand that wearing the mask helps but it’s not 100%, you have to do both, distancing and masks.

If you don’t have to get food or if you don’t have to go to work then stay home.

P.S. I understand that some of you have yo go out to work and take that risk but let that be the only risk you take. By limiting your risks, you are limiting the spread. I hope this message helps.

I just think we cannot rely on officials to reduce this spread and save the lives of the ones who will not survive this.

Your life is a roller coaster of achievements and learning experience, be willing to do things!

That’s living your life right there. Took me a minute to understand that starting over is not a failure. I guess you got to start over about 6 times to finally feel like you should just be gliding into the changes of your life.

Be grateful for each experiences as it will bring skills, awareness and tools for your next.

In 2012 I started a catering business from scratch with $0 in my pocket. I won grants by presenting my business plans in front of judges. I was feeding 180 kids in 13 different daycares. I was starting at 4:30 Am and ending at 11:30 PM, then I would go home to clean and cook ... well let’s say I skipped it a few times, but I am saying I still had my daily routine at home. Almost 2 years like that and it wasn’t as profitable as I needed it to be and I was completely drained. I sold it, thankfully I didn’t go under.

I was numb for about 6 months after, I didn’t even want to cook.

As life went on, I realized that that experience was just setting grounds for me to take any punches in life and bounce back and know I can do anything.

I hope whatever you are doing you take my story with you and to change course doesn’t mean you quit.
