FOR THOSE THAT DON’T KNOW…🍎📚

this week I will begin a new journey as a 5th Grade ELA teacher! With this new chapter comes a small change for Felan Photography. My availability for sessions will be significantly more limited as I devote my weekdays to my students. Going forward, I’ll primarily be booking sessions on select evenings, weekends, school holidays, and breaks.

If you’ve followed my journey, you know this isn’t my first time balancing two careers. Before losing my full-time job last October, I successfully worked full-time while building and running Felan Photography. Returning to that balance isn’t new to me.

I also want to take a moment to say thank you.

When I unexpectedly lost my job last October, this business became so much more than photography. Because of each of you - every session you booked, every image you shared, every recommendation you made, and every kind word you spoke - you kept Felan Photography going during one of the hardest seasons of my life. More importantly, you helped keep my family afloat. I will never be able to thank you enough for the love and support you’ve all shown me.

Felan Photography is my heart and soul. I’ve poured countless hours, endless love, and so much of myself into building this business. It has given me the privilege of celebrating your milestones, preserving your memories, and meeting so many incredible people along the way. It isn’t just something I do - it’s a part of who I am. Because of that, I will never step away from it.

Teaching is a dream that allows me to impact lives in one way. Photography is the passion that allows me to preserve them in another. Both have a special place in my heart, and I thank God for his path.

Thank you for continuing to support me through every season. Whether I’m in a classroom or behind my camera, I feel incredibly blessed to do work that fills my heart.
