If you are thinking on whether or not to do a bridal or formal session before your big day, you may want to take the following reasons into consideration:
-These are images you normally may not be able to take during your event
-It gives you the opportunity to see what you will look like the day of your event with all your accessories
-It’s also a trial look for your makeup and hair to see if it will hold for your big day
-It gives you the experience to see if everything will fit comfortably or needs adjustments
-Confidence - prepares you for your big day and makes you feel more comfortable in front of the camera
-Time - since you’ve already taken your formal pictures prior to your event, the day of your event you have more precious time to spend on other important images
-It allows for less stress and more relaxed pictures on your important day
-Your portrait is a large piece of art that can be displayed the day of the event at your reception and later in your home
-Your portrait is an heirloom that can be handed down from one generation to another.
