May was full… like so full.. like.. I’m wicked tired! Not shown are the countless hours culling, editing & delivering thousands of images to studios and dancers.. answering endless emails about special requests and “I can’t find my email.”

Growing always comes with a few hiccups, but they are always great learning opportunities. Thank you to everyone for your patience this season, and I’m looking forward to a (slightly) slower summer!

If you reached out with any special requests that I have not yet delivered, maybe send a quick follow-up to make sure it didn’t get lost in the shuffle.

Completely grateful for all the dancers and companies I am able to work with throughout the year. Each one brings their own flavor, experience and ideas, and makes each shoot special and memorable.

My 5th year making this little annual recap- always fun to see trends and the direction of Gilded Sun!

I added a few more studios and individual sessions this year- which would not have been possible with streamlining my processes a little more. Big thanks to , Evoto and Justine for help in that area!

I did a number of ambassadors shoots with and , and that has been fun getting to photograph the same core group of dancers. They were such a great group of girls, and I look forward to working with the new crew this year.

In 2025, I photographed even more kiddos for and . Such great organizations and they have a huge chunk of my heart. If you are looking for a place to donate or volunteer with, please check them out. They support children in foster care and help them find their forever homes.

Moving forward, I think I would like to do a few more styled shoots. They can be a lot to put together, but it is so rewarding afterwards! I miss the creativity of the photo shoots, so I’d like to find a way to reincorporate that.

2025 was fab for Gilded Sun, and I’m confident 2026 will be an opportunity for even more growth.
