I haven’t known for quite some time what I’ve wanted to do with this account. I knew I wanted it to be a representation of art I was creating, but I didn’t know the direction I wanted that to take, until recently.
I’m starting something I’ve been dreaming about for at least 5 years: a portrait + storytelling series. Sessions will include a short interview, a styled portrait session at my studio, and the subject’s story featured as a part of the project.
This project is for anyone to participate in; if you have a story – big or small, funny or moving – I want to hear it and photograph you. If this is of interest to you, and you want to be a part of this project that is finally coming to life, please reach out.
As this is unlike anything I’ve done before, I’m still working on a pricing structure and session formula. To get started, I’m offering deeply discounted sessions to people who are interested and willing to have their photos and stories shared.
I’m hoping this will be an ongoing, years’ long experience, so if you’re reading this years after I share this initial post and find it interesting, let’s chat.
