It’s a beautiful thing when someone who was once hidden becomes visible. ✨
I had the honor of bringing Laurina’s vision to life through a creative branding session that was all about making her artistic side visible as she continues to grow and evolve in her journey.
And can I just say… I LOVED IT!
The mood set the tone, but the light was a character all its own. The way it revealed, concealed, and shaped each frame was part of the magic.
The past few months have brought new contracts, new opportunities, and a whole lot of change. Most of my photography lately has leaned more toward documentary and photojournalistic work. And while I love that side of what I do, I didn’t realize how much I missed simply creating art.
This session was exactly what my creative soul needed.
It reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. It reminded me that I’m versatile, that there’s more than one side to my artistry, and most importantly, that I’m not done yet.
Because if I’m being transparent, I’ve had moments when I wondered whether it was time to put the camera down and do something else. I think every creative experiences that season at some point.
But sometimes, all it takes is one session to remind you why you started. ❤️
Laurina, thank you for trusting me with your vision, for all the brainstorming and storyboarding, and for giving me the freedom to create. There’s something special about collaborating with someone who trusts you to bring what’s in their imagination to life.
