I almost canceled the session because of the rain, but we waited—and the sun showed up just in time. It turned into the most beautiful day for a bluebonnet session. These sweet sisters came back again this year, and their love for flowers made it all the more special.

The session started right after a quick rain shower—it was cloudy, and I’ll admit, I missed the sun. But these boys absolutely stole the show! Big brother wasn’t feeling his best, but he powered through like a champ, and little brother brought so much sweetness.

The older my kids get, the more nostalgic I feel when I witness moments like this. I’m reminded of the tiredness of those long breastfeeding nights and the constant care a newborn needs. My youngest will soon be 3 years old, and I can’t help but wish I could turn back time and keep him this little. Nurturing is woven into our DNA, and I will forever cherish the bond I’ve created with my own little ones.

Before she became my photography client, she was my art teacher—how crazy is that! From the very first day I saw her and watched her interact with her students, I was drawn to her incredible personality. She’s one of those rare people you instantly love—motivational, encouraging, and genuinely uplifting. She’s truly a gift from God, and I feel so honored to know her and her beautiful family.
