Testing the theoretical limits of detail acquired with Nikon Z8 through a telescope. 30 images stacked and processed in Photoshop using luminance sculpting. Each moon is an iterative process with its own personality. Let me know what you think about this one!

Midnight Moon Glow

I took this photos during full moon while low level clouds were quickly moving through the Gulf Coast region of Texas creating interesting windows of full Moon shine.

The photos are two exposures in succession and blended. One for properly exposed moon and another for the clouds.

Shot with Nikon Z8 and NIKKOR 100-400mm with NIKKOR 2X Teleconverter.
