Last night’s engagement session was super special because I got to capture engagement photos for my sweet friends, Adam and Lauren. Patrick and I met Adam at Mines in Geophysics grad school. When we all graduated and moved to Houston in 2019, we ended up living 5 minutes away from each other. At that time, it was just Adam and his dog, Gus. Soon after, Lauren graduated and moved in. Then they got their adorable second pup, Bella.

It’s been so fun and such a blessing to have friends live so close. We pet sit for each other, and they’ve helped us with lots home improvement projects. Plus, it’s so easy to grab dinner together!

Speaking of which, another plus of taking engagement photos of your friends is you get to go on a double date after! We got BBQ before we all headed home for the night and it was so good 😋

Adam and Lauren, Patrick and I are so happy for the two of you and we can’t wait for your wedding next year!

Today is the start of graduation weekend! First up is Investiture, where we celebrate completing all of our requirements to become a Master of Accounting. This will be just our program, where we get to walk the stage and get hooded. Then, tomorrow is official graduation day with the whole school!

Also, shoutout to my husband who took these graduation pictures for me last minute!

Finally getting around to sharing these gorgeous bluebonnet pictures! It was so special to take these photos for my sister and her sweet family. My poor niece was getting over a cold and wasn't in the best spirits, but we still got some great photos!

Sharing some of my favorites from yesterday's session with the Nation family. These two are high school sweet hearts and have been married more than 7 years. They now have two sweet boys who were so cute and easygoing during this shoot. I can't wait to show you more but until then, enjoy these photos!

Sharing my favorites from 2021 in this blog post!

While I’ve dabbled with a camera for the last couple years, 2021 was the first time I shot a real portrait session (and not just my cats 😂).

I’m so thankful to every single one of you who stepped in front of my camera this past year. I’m so grateful to have captured these memories.

On a personal note, I am so proud of how far I’ve come as a photographer. I know 2022 will even better. Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

I photographed Amanda and Hector (John)'s wedding this past summer so it was so fun seeing lots of familiar faces again. I loved this sweet extended family session - it was so hard to pick favorites!

Sharing sneak peaks from Amanda and Hector's Houston courthouse wedding! They officially said "I do" this past Saturday in front of their parents and son, followed by an intimate dinner with close family. I love small weddings and think they are just as beautiful as big weddings.

Side note: Amanda and Hector dressed their son in the cutest wedding day attire. He definitely stole the show the entire day!
