Hello and happy Monday. I hope everyone has a lovely week.

This was from one of my first handful of sessions. Sis came and absolutely slayed!! We had so much fun and her friend was there hyping her up the whole time too. We all need that one friend in our life.

Hello lovelies. It’s been a while.

Ya girl had to step away from photography for some time. Just to focus on other stuff. I wasn’t really able to give it the time it needed so I just put it on the back burner.

Hopefully I can start getting back to it because I really do miss it. Meanwhile, here’s something from one of my last sessions before I stopped. Happy Monday. Have wonderful, beautiful starts to your week. 💕

This is a reminder that you don't have to share you photos to be posted on social media. You have the option once you're done with your session and see your photos to decide if you'd like to share them, not share them, or only share anonymous pics like this one where you don't see your face or any visible signifiers of who you are. It's completely your choice. But honestly, after seeing yourself looks good af how could you not want to share it? With at least one other person. 😏

So if that's what stopping you from booking, don't let it. It's your choice at the end of the day. Treat yourself to the photoshoot.

Not even gonna lie, this pose legit almost broke me, but honestly one of my fav pics of the bunch. 🥵

If you plan on doing a bo***ir session, make sure to stretch before. Do about a 10-20 minute stretch routine the night before and even a bit right before your session.

I've got lots of tips for you to use before your session and it'll all be included in a pre session prep guide that you get once you book with me. I've got your back. Literally. It'll save you some back pain if you stretch beforehand. 😂😅

Trying to practice what I preach and get behind the camera...

These are some self portraits that I did. Had a shoot scheduled that got rescheduled so I decided to use that time for myself. To get behind the camera, get some practice in my new "studio space" aka my living room. Lol

But dang, this was a hard process. One, some of these poses are hard and i made the mistake of not stretching beforehand so I'm definitely sore lol

Also, it's really hard taking self portraits. On the technical side, there's the going back and forth between where you're posing and adjusting the tripod and the camera.

However, there's the emotional side of just seeing myself on the camera. I am one of those people who hates getting my picture taken. I've been dealing with gaining weight when i was mostly skinny my whole life and having people tell me they wished they were as skinny as i was. As if skinny=beautiful and fat=ugly. That's so not the case. Taking these self portraits was a practice in confidence and self love. It gave me a boost in self esteem that I'm constantly denying myself.

So when I tell you bo***ir is empowering, I hope you know i mean it. I've been behind the camera and now I've been in front of it. I can confidently tell you that getting one of these shoots done is worth every penny. 💫
