I’ve been MIA for a bit. A lot has happened since my last post. For those of you that know me personally, you know I lost my grandma in October. You know that I basically shut down and my husband stepped in and took over all my duties as a homemaker. I struggled with finding joy in photography. My grandma’s health went down hill in July and she wanted me to photograph her one last time. But her health declined too fast, she had no energy and unfortunately I never got to take those photos. I decided I didn’t want to do this anymore. It hurt too much.
But then the boy’s ABA clinic asked me to do their holiday photos again. I love taking photos of those kids so much. It truly is the highlight of my year, unfortunately I can not share any of those photos with you, but trust me; they’re adorable! Working with children with autism is the entire reason I even wanted to take up photography.
My niece asked for holidays photos as well, and you know I can NEVER say no to my Maddy. I’m her favorite Tia and plan to keep it that way😅
And of course, my cousin kept coming back to me to continue taking photos of her first and only child. For Halloween, Christmas and now photos for his up coming baptism. Do you know how much of an honor this is? 🥹
I realized I still enjoy doing this. I love how goofy the kids are, I love how stubborn they are 😂 I love how much they’ve changed since the last photo I took of them.
So even if I’m not your photographer, always remember to take a picture ❤️ here’s a photo I never shared that I’m glad I took, my sweet Coco with Julian 🥹
