OVER 1,100 JOB SEEKERS REGISTERED! THIS IS WHAT TEAMWORK LOOKS LIKE!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia for joining us at the North Channel Job Fair and sharing some encouraging words with our job seekers!

During his remarks, Commissioner Garcia mentioned over 900 registrations. Well, Commissioner, here's an update! We finished with OVER 1,100 REGISTERED JOB SEEKERS!

THE FASHION WAS AMAZING, BUT THE PURPOSE BEHIND IT WAS EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL!

Now THIS is what happens when fashion meets a mission!

The final runway walk at the Dreams Unleashed Fashion Show was absolutely SPECTACULAR!

The designs. The creativity. The confidence. The ENERGY!

Every model brought something special to that runway, and the entire evening was a beautiful celebration of style, talent, and purpose!

But here's what made this event REALLY special...

THE BIGGEST IMPACT WASN'T HAPPENING ON THE RUNWAY!

All proceeds from this incredible event go toward an even more incredible cause: helping girls elevate themselves, discover their potential, and pursue their dreams!

Think about that!

An evening of elegance and entertainment that creates opportunities for the next generation of young women!

That's what I call FASHION WITH A PURPOSE!

Because when we invest in our girls, we're not just helping them look toward a brighter future. We're empowering them to CREATE one!

The models may have taken their final walk, but the impact of this event will continue long after the runway lights go out!

The fashion made a statement. The mission is making a DIFFERENCE!

WHEN THE ARTIST BECOMES THE ART!

Now, I've seen some incredible fashion, but THIS was something special!

Last night at the Dreams Unleashed fashion show, one of the most unforgettable looks of the evening didn't even come down the runway!

And here's what made it even more impressive...

SHE WAS THERE TO PAINT!

Meet lajashachampion, a talented multidisciplinary artist who wasn't just creating a masterpiece. SHE WAS ONE!

Let's talk about this look!

The exquisite royal blue and gold gown. The intricate patterns. The stunning gold butterflies adorning her hair. The butterfly earrings and matching accessories.

And what really impressed me? Her entire look complemented the organization's colors and butterfly theme!

I'm talking about understanding the assignment, completing the extra credit, AND becoming the teacher's favorite student!

SHE DIDN'T JUST SHOW UP TO THE EVENT. SHE BECAME PART OF THE EXPERIENCE!

That's what I love about true creativity. It doesn't have to be confined to a canvas, a runway, or even a single art form.

Sometimes the greatest masterpiece is the person creating it!

And that's exactly what I witnessed last night.

Some songs sound good through your speakers. But hearing them LIVE? That's a whole different experience!

Last night, I had the opportunity to witness BIG SIOUX performing "Boots on Chrome" LIVE, and this is exactly why I love experiencing music in person!

There's something special about discovering an artist through a live performance. The music, the energy, the stage presence. It's an experience you just can't duplicate through headphones!

BIG SIOUX is definitely an artist worth keeping on your radar!
